ELDER STREET DELI
The Deli is stocked full of amazing local and artisan Italian produce, the majority of our products are homemade and produced on site daily including our freshly baked artisan bread. The Essex pork featured in many of our homemade items is locally sourced from Julie & Jonathon Smith of Great Garnett’s Farm in Barnston, Dunmow. The runny yolks of our Homemade Scotch Eggs are legendary in the local area. Our hams are roasted on site and glazed with a fantastic honey from Derek Johnson of Honeyhouse less than half a mile a way in Wimbish. Being in East Anglia we are blessed with a county of innovative producers, our deli features amazing Suffolk Salami & Chorizo from Sue and Ian Whitehead of Lane Farm in Brundish, Woodbridge who breed and rear their own pigs to produce their charcuterie.
Our cheese selection features many from Suffolk & Norfolk including award winners from Catherine Temple, our Artisan Italian Cheeses are sourced by Filippo – an authentic Italian, he ages our Parmesan himself for 3 years in Northern Italy.
Gregg’s hand pressed burgers and butchery items are available to order. The coffee served in our café can be ground to your specific requirements for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
